XERO

PUBLICATION
THE PROJECT
Xero is an experimental publication with the goal of bringing punk culture into the high fashion magazine scene. The magazine aims to give people who dress alternatively a place to find inspiration and feel as though they fit in, in the high fashion world.
Mixed font typography and striking high contrast imagery give this zine the anarchist feeling that many people associate with punk fashion and culture.
DELIVERABLES
Experimental Publication

The name Xero is a nod to the early creation of punk zines. In which many people would use methods of cutting, pasting and photo copying to create their magazines. Thus the name Xero, which is a nod to the traditional Xerox machine.
Throughout the magazine I use xerox textures to add to the grunge experimental feeling of the publication.

FONT CHOICES

Each photo in the collection was meticulously shot and styled by me to evoke a distinctive early 90s punk aesthetic. The photos were then carefully manipulated to give off the handmade and rebellious feeling created in early zines.
